AG in the Classroom

This morning, Sigma Alpha, Philanthropy Sorority at Auburn University came to do special activities with our Kindergarten Classes.  They had several rotations to help the children learn about agriculture in our area!

At our first rotation, we learned about pigs.  We learned how large pigs can grow, how many babies they have and all about their food.  We never knew that pigs were such interesting animals!

Next, we learned all about dairy cows.  We even got a chance to see what it is like to milk a cow.

We also got to make butter!

We learned about sheep and planted soybeans.

Thanks Auburn University.  We learned a lot about agriculture and had a great time!
