Ladybugs

This afternoon the first of our special LIVE deliveries arrived!  We got a tube filled with ladybug larva!

The larva were so tiny that no one noticed them at first.

However they grew really fast!

 

We watched the ladybugs for a few weeks.  Then we noticed that the larva had stopped moving.  They were changing into pupa.

Biology Center goes to the Bugs!

We came back from Spring Break and our Science Center was filled with a lot of new things!  There were magnifying glasses, view finders, bug specimens, binoculars, a talking microscope and a bug catcher!  The children really seem to love getting buggy in the Biology Center.
