We have been working really hard to learn the procedures for Shared Journal! We are learning how to tell and listen to a story, how to ask and answer questions and how to talk about the story that we heard. This is a lot to learn, so we started out with just one person sharing a story each day.

We are learning to be good listeners. We have to listen so that we will know what to draw and write about!
After we hear a story, we get to ask questions about it.
Once we know all about the story, we draw and write about it in our journals.
This week, our last friend got to share a story and be written about by the class! Now that everyone has been written about at least one time, we are ready for two friends to share each day.
