100th Day of School

We had a great time celebrating the 100th Day of School!

Will and Malik's shirts say it all!

We started the day with a special snack that had 100 things in it!

Next, we made necklaces with 100 Fruit Loops on it.

Finally, we made self-portraits of our 100 year old selves.

  

Snowman Glyphs

Well, we had two days of winter weather last week and that was all we needed to kick off our interest in winter and snow! Take a peak at the snowman glyphs we made during center time!

December's 100 Book Club Awards

Look who's been reading this month!  

Kaylen read 50 books and earned her pencil!

Exploring Magnets pt. 1

The children have been busy exploring magnets at the Science Center.  For our 1st exploration, the children were given 3 tasks.  The first task was to test a box full of objects to determine if they were magnetic or non-magnetic.

James, Lucy and Katie scanned the QR code on the box to listen to their directions.

It was a tiny bit loud in the room so Katie and Lucy went out into the hall.

  

  

  

The second task was for the children to go around the classroom and test other items to see if they were magnetic or non-mangnetic.

Finally, the children had to write down one item that they tested from around the classroom and put it on the chart.
