After a week of reading Mouse Paint and other color books during Shared Reading, we did a little bit of M & M Graphing. Everyone was super excited about this math journal activity! We started with a a handful of M & M's. The first job was to sort the M & M's into colors and build our graph.
After sorting all of the M & M's we had to record each color on our graph.
After recording our data, it was time to decide which color we had the most and least of. Finally, it was time to EAT!
