The Sprinkle... Part 1

Our class voted to change the Home Living Center into an ice cream shop.  We are all very excited about this change.  The children have worked hard and last week, The Sprinkle was open for business!

Before we could open, the children had some work to do.

The girls decided that we needed big cylinder shaped cans to hold the ice cream.  They wrote an e-mail to Mrs. Wendy and asked her to save us some cans.

After the class voted on a name for our shop, Ella finished the sign.

Amori, Demi and Haley made the menu signs to hang in our shop.

Butcher paper was used to make the ice cream.  Beads and pom-poms were used to make the toppings.

We also got out the Ice Cream Shop props and a cash register  that we got from our last Donors Choose project!  We added a few bowls, some spoons, cups and a sign or two.  Finally, The Sprinkle was open for business!
